In 2010, I visited the Chernobyl nuclear exclusion zone in Ukraine and since then I’ve been interested in Urban Exploration (Urbex) of abandoned sites – homes, factories, hospitals – recording what happens if mankind was to one day walk away and leave a building to rot.

In 2014 I began a project to photograph these locations and I have recorded the visits on a blog, located at urbex.photosbydenn.is.
